Learn to safely improve your muscle strength and increase your
flexibility. Some motivating
facts – strong muscles support a good posture; without strength training
exercise, after age 35 we begin losing muscle mass as a natural part of
aging; 1 lb. of muscle burns 35 calories while 1 lb. of fat only burns 4
calories; 2 hours of exercise a week can improve your health and fitness
level in a big way. Check
with your doctor before beginning an exercise program. Assisted Stretching - $45 30 min. session This
session begins with gentle movement qigong exercises to warm-up the body,
then together we will stretch the major muscles of your body.
I do this by properly positioning your body, arms and legs, and
applying pressure in a specific direction to achieve the desired stretch.
This is not painful and is a very effective way to relieve muscle
strain and stiffness. Massage and Stretch 60 min. session - $80 75
