Stress Relief Recommendations

My recommendations for a basic Stress Relief Program include the following steps:

Step One: Talk to your doctor for a health evaluation, and to discuss the level of stress in your life and any effect it is having on your body and mind.

Step Two: Stress Evaluation – Review the cause of stress in your life and make a preliminary decision about what you can do about it – remove it, manage it or change your thinking about it.

Step Three: Personality Evaluation – Do you have stress-prone or stress-resistant personality behaviors? Identify the characteristics of people who are more resilient and stress-resistant.

Step Four: Take Care of Your Body – Fight stress and the damage it does to your body by developing a healthier lifestyle without becoming a health fanatic.

Step Five: Manage Your Mind – Include activities and behaviors in your life that keep you calm and encourage rational thinking.
